Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Agriculture Committee passed legislation that repeals country of origin labeling (COOL) requirements with respect to beef, pork, and chicken.
Washington, DC – This afternoon, Representative Kevin Yoder voted in favor of the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, which the House of Representatives passed by a vote of 400-25. The bill would prevent the president from unilaterally lifting sanctions on Iran if Congress votes to disapprove a final nuclear deal with Iran.
Washington, DC – Moments ago, Representative Kevin Yoder voted in favor of the Pain Capable Unborn Child Act, which the House of Representatives passed by a vote of 242-184. The bill prohibits abortions after a pregnancy has reached five months, with exceptions for rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is at stake.
Washington, DC – This afternoon, Representative Kevin Yoder voted against the USA Freedom Act, which the House of Representatives passed by a vote of 338-88. The bill reauthorizes large portions of the USA Patriot Act set to expire in June of this year.

Washington, D.C. – Today, the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Appropriations Subcommittee passed the 2016 THUD Appropriations Bill, sending it to the full Appropriations Committee for consideration next week.
